HCCD is devoted to assist and provide guidance to adults who desire to get into the workforce by acquiring a trade skill certification. A trade skill certification is a career-specific program that teaches adult students how to perform a particular job through the development of specific skill sets in order to successfuly perform their work. From career opportunities such as becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and gaining experience in other areas besides the medical field, such as engineering-related fields and everything in between, our adult education services will provide individuals with the knowledge they need to gain skills for a variety of positions in the workforce.

Through HCCD’s adult education program, helping individuals obtain a trade skill certificate is an alternative option to the offering of a traditional degree that acts as another pathway to the workforce. Having a trade skill certificate gives adults the opportunity to be an expert in their chosen field after retaining skills from our training programs.
